The Collection Restaurant and Bar opened on 1 October 2011 following a dramatic redesign courtesy of Design Research Studio under the direction of Tom Dixon. Head Chef Alex Fanzola aims for simple perfection with his cooking from the olive oil countries of Southern Europe.
I am proud to say that has helped to develop this styling project. It started from the concept to consider the bar/restaurant/club as an art space: The Factory from Andy Wharhol. Working out the project's program, the space was broke down in 4 spaces with different treatments and aproaches under a general theme that was Art and Pop Culture: The Stage, Archive, Salon and Private Dinning. Working with white and black and small touches of colour, but with the reach use of materials and lighting that Tom Dixon's lighting and furniture inspire.
